Werner Rust has been part of the Lumesa team since the very first drilling systems and is an indispensable part of our technical development and support teams. With his many years of experience, he reliably ensures the operation of electronics, control systems, and radio technology, guaranteeing the smooth functioning of our machines in the field. Whether in product development or direct customer support, Werner combines technical expertise with a solution-oriented approach. His attention to detail and his ability to pragmatically resolve even complex technical issues are particularly valued.
From electrical assembly to international mechanical engineering
After graduating from the technical college for electrical engineering in 1984, Werner Rust began his career at the drilling rig manufacturer BPI (Böhler Pneumatic International). There, he initially worked in electrical assembly at the factory. Early on, he gained experience in service and commissioning drilling rigs in quarries, mining operations, and special foundation engineering projects. These experiences significantly shaped his subsequent career path. Following the closure and relocation of the production site in 2000, Werner worked at TECHMO and later at TM-Bohrtechnik. There, he was involved in the development of excavator drilling rigs designed to meet customer-specific requirements in special foundation engineering. Since the founding of Lumesa GmbH in 2022, Werner has been an integral part of the team and makes a significant contribution to technical development and customer support.
